Assam Black Tea
Awarded "Most Eco-Friendly Black Tea" by Bloomberg Green, this robust, dark, fragrant black tea is from biodynamic farms in the eastern Indian state of Assam. Commonly used as a basis for English breakfast and chai. Orthodox refers to rolled tea leaves. Whereas most tea bags offer broken tea leaves, Alaya Assam Orthodox Black loose leaf tea are whole leaves that bloom in hot water.
